The book follows the British Army Intelligence Corps' development in WWI with activities in France and Flanders, East Africa, Italy, Mesopotamia and the Balkans. In WWII the Corp served with the BEF, and thereafter in all major theatres. It worked closely with MI5 and SIS, Bletchley Park, SOE, and Y Signals Intelligence Service. Post-war the Corp was active in Palestine, Malaya, Kenya, Cyprus, Korea and the Falklands.
