The two R.A.F. men couldn't believe it. Here they were stranded miles from anywhere in the hostile wastes of the Sudan, and the Italian pilot who'd brought down their kite was coming in to land beside them.
The Fiat biplane hopped along the sand for some way ... then keeled over, smashing the propeller. Now there were three of them marooned in this wilderness, well and truly DOWN IN THE DESERT.
