Using footage filmed by Russian camera crews who followed the combat forces and English commentary, this documentary is an insight into the Battle for Berlin in the Spring of 1945. With hundreds of thousands of casualties on both sides, Berliners found themselves abandoned and surrounded by the Soviet troops, and eventually had to surrender to the enemy and a future of living in a split capital.
